Sounds great. I sometimes cooked them on the BBQ or in the microwave in their skins then scatter some brown sugar over them and cream. mmmmmmmm. This looks just as good and a fair bit healthier too. I will try it for my 5:2 Diet.
Becca,This sounds and looks delicious! I love a light dessert and this would be perfect for camp-outs too. Can't wait to try this recipe. Thanks so much for sharing at Creative Thursday this week. Have a wonderful weekend. Michelle
that sounds amazing!!
I like baked bananas, but during hot summer time, I just cook then on top of the stove.Meriemhttp://skinnysimplerecipes.blogspot.ca/2012/02/stove-top-baked-bananas.html
Great idea, but our summer hasn't been too great this year so I haven't minded having the oven on! :)
This looks SO good! I bet it would be delicious on top of brownies or something. I can't wait to try it!
Any idea how this effects the calorie content of a banana? From what I read there are some 100 ish calories in one, but with the honey and actually baking the bananas, this will change..?
Yes there are about 100 cals in a banana, and around 60 in a tbsp of honey, so there will be about 160 in total.
